*** Just Announced - Club Meeting, January 18th - Click for information ***
The meeting is for returning players and those new to rugby as we prepare for the 2010 season.

Who we are ...
Western Loudoun Rugby Football is a U-19 club in the Virginia Rugby Union, having both a boys and a girls team.
All Loudoun County (and surrounding area) high school students, ages 14-18 are eligible to play.
Experience is not necessary - just the desire to play!  Our home field is Franklin Park in Purcellville, VA.

The Season ...
Practices begin in February. Games begin in March and end with tournament play in June.

Cost ...
$125.00
The CIPP fee, Parks & Rec field use fee and pizza socials following home games are included
in the registration cost.  Shorts and socks are additional.
Parents are asked to provide snacks/drinks on a rotating schedule on game days.

Uniforms/Gear ...
The jerseys belong to the club and are provided on game days.  Players wear black shorts and black socks.
Mouth guards and cleats (soccer or rugby - no toe cleats) are required.
Mondays are Jersey days at Your Schools -- Wear them proudly!!

Game Policy ...
The captains pick the 15 starters.
Attendance at practices merit playing time and everyone will play if they have attended.
This may involve playing only the first or second half of a game if the opposition does not have enough players for two games.
The coach will decide if you have safely mastered tackling, being tackled, rucking, and mauling before you play.
Our club frequently fills in for missing players for visiting teams.
This is a great chance to build your skills and learn the game from a different perspective.
